The Wellspring Care Collective is a monthly mentorship group for Black LQBTIA+ mental health providers building their clinical practice from the inside out. Through a blend of business guidance, identity integration, and community care, members learn to root their work in personal integrity while designing sustainable, affirming therapy practices.

1) Who is The Wellspring Care Collective for?
The Wellspring Care Collective 2026 is exclusively for Black and LGBTQIA+ identified mental health professionals interested in exploring and building private practice. Applicants should be interested in co-created mentorship rooted in community and ready to receive support that integrates identity, reflection, and practical tools.
2) What stage/type of licensure do I need to apply?
All mental health professionals interested in creating a private practice are welcome to apply. Whether you're a graduate student or licensed clinician, everyone will have something to give and receive!
3) What stage of business development do I need to be to apply?
Whether you're launching, scaling, or refining your business, our co-created mentorship ensures you have the clarity, resources, and support needed to succeed.
4) How much does membership cost?
The Wellspring Care Collective membership is $250/month with a 3-month minimum commitment. Applicants can also commit to 6-months or 1-year (10 months) for a discounted monthly price. PayPal payment plans are available.
5) Are there sliding scale options available?
There are 1-2 student spots available at a sliding scale price. Contact the WCC facilitator, Kala Lacy, LMFT & CYT, to explore further at support@thewellhealing.com. PayPal payment plans are available for all.
6) What if I don't identify as Black or LGBTQIA+?
The 2026 Wellspring Care Collective cohort is dedicated exclusively to supporting Black and LGBTQIA+ clinicians. Stay tuned! Future cohorts may be open to other communities in the future.
